but serious !

LadyTophamHatt · 24/05/2007 12:20

winegum, i just know they are because although I'd alway want anither baby, the thought of being PG again does not appeal.

I'd have another if dh ever asked but there won't be any more planned tophamhatt children.

ds2 only 6 wks and I already want another one, though I agree with dino, the thought of my 2 bruisers as teens is frightening....

SoupDragon · 24/05/2007 12:31

I did look at the 3 of them in the bath the other day and thought "bl**dy hell, they're all mine!"

Wilbur · 24/05/2007 12:37

There was a pile of children on my lawn yesterday and they were all mine. I was astounded. Dh also gets quite surprised about the three small people that ruin his sleep and make him laugh. It was my anniversary too so I was thinking back to pre-child days and sighing deeply.

mozhe · 24/05/2007 12:39

I'm having my 6th but can't help looking wistfully art my bump and thinking,' this will in all probability be my last....'( I'm 44 so can't see it happening again..)

Twinmummyx2 · 24/05/2007 13:04

It really only hits me when i have to think of one of the middle childrens D.O.B's....and when under pressure to i'm like......ummmmmm..people must think i'm terrible not knowing my child's date of birth off the top of my head....i have to start at the oldest one and work my way down until i get to the required D.O.B!!

Filling in forms too.....when there isn't nearly enough boxes for all the names..lol

dejags · 24/05/2007 13:16

I can't believe I had one, let along three (and I'll secretly admit to already having longings for no. 4). I was not exactly what you would call homely in my youth (am now 33), I think I'll be surprising a lot of people at my 20 year school reunion.

I adore my brood and am loving being a mum third time round.

I think DH will find another wife if I get pregnant again though .

dejags · 24/05/2007 13:18

that would be on account of the fact that I was the worlds GREATEST BEEEEATCH when I was pregnant with DD.

winegumss · 24/05/2007 13:45

LadyTop, still really wanting no4 myself, but cant quite get my head around it - seem to forget the pregnancy and not so easy births, just always wanted 4. 41.5 now tho, hence the worry. how do you like it with 4?

winegumss · 24/05/2007 13:50

so tired tho - love the kids so much and just want to round it up to 4. am i crackers? others are 1,3 and 4 - got married quite late in life!!! too busy working, not now and dont intend to, love being at home with them all. tho do get exhausted and worn down by them when they answer back or fight with each other!!! usually happy all together tho.

winegum, I cannot tell you how lovely it is having 4.
Honestly, hand on my heart its been the easiest increase in offspring by a long long way. I'm not sure if its because DS4 is a particulary easy baby or if its because I've kind of done it all before so nothing is a shock to the system or too much hard work/stress....maybe its a combination of both.

I love the reactaion I get when I tell people I have 4, I love taking them all out together, especially if its just me taking them, I always feel like superwoman.
I think its unusual nowadays to have so many...is it still 2.4 children thats the norm??
Well who wants to be normal??

Ds4 is the cutest and loveliest (and most expensive) mistake we've made.

No because I knew once I had 2 that that was my limit. I do get broody now and again but also love my freedom I now have. I also love the fact that now mine are older I can have more 1 to 1 time.
