Any suggestions please? .. he has a play kitchen already. But I'm a bit stuck, suddenly all the rest of his toys seem to be too young for him Confused

Big jigg train tack? Lots of bits to add on, nice toddler friendly sized track and trains.

Toot toot vehicles and track equally popular with my son.

Duplo?

brightyellowtaxi · 07/06/2018 15:58

Great idea on the train. Grandparents have asked what he wants too, so that's a great idea.

We have some toot toot vehicles already and he like those.

Duplo yes .. I guess a set would be more interesting than just bricks

Ds got a Thomas scooter, took him a fortnight to master it. Still his favourite thing at 3.8!!

Dd’s favourite presents for her 2nd birthday were magnetic letters and numbers, tap-a-shape, tool kit, scooter

Posted too soon.
... and a till.

She still loves duplo but also likes playing with her brother’s proper Lego.

Brio. It will last for years, you can buy it second hand as good as new and my DC still play with ours from 30 years ago.

Scuttlubug.

Gardening toys.

Something to grow into like a mini micro scooter, my nearly 2yo has almost mastered his big sister's.

brightyellowtaxi · 08/06/2018 15:55

Great ideas everyone

@Nomad86 I hadn't heard of Brio and I've now seen a nice farm set

DD is 2 in September and we've got her a balance bike. Nothing else yet but ideas - toys with lots of different fasteners (we've got some ELC owls with little jackets), garden equipment they can grow into (we got her a set that says 3+ last year but she can already do the steps and the slide on her own), paddling pool, sand and water tables?
