PFB turns 1 soon. I'm stuck on ideas for birthday presents as where he's only 1 won't actually want or remember much and doesn't really"get" birthdays but i want him to have nice things with a small budget.

Suggestions would be lovely if you don't mind, I have essentially writer's block!

Whatever you get him, make sure it's got nice wrapping paper as that's what he'll be interested in. The more care and expense that goes into the present, the more attractive the wrapping is. FactGrin

My pfb is one very soon too. I mulled it over for ages but settled on a toy, a messy play thing and we are just going to get the paddling pool out in the garden with immediate family and a bbq.

She loves food and water. Figured i would just give her a nice day that we will remember and she can see pics of.

It might mean nothing to her but she will still have a lovely day. I also have one of those clay hand print photo frames to mark her wee hand at 1 :)

We gave DD a mini trampoline, the indoor kind with a handle to hold onto, and a Postman Pat cat that meows. I can't remember what else, books and small toys I should think. The trampoline lasted until she outgrew it, and was passed on. The cat is still played with from time to time.
