My 2 year old draws on everything

My DD has just turned 2 and she’s is obsessed with drawing. I’ve learnt how to get pen off sofas, carpets, new shoes etc

I’ve got older ones and we all are on pen watch incase one is left lying around and she finds it.

Anyone got any advice on how I can channel this into good as telling her ‘no’ doesn’t work

My dd2 (2.5) was like this. We obviously try to keep pens out of reach too but I have paper in the kitchen and lounge and just keep repeating not on the wall/sofa/table on the paper!

It's worked as she's mainly stopped drawing on things she shouldn't.

Pot of water and a paintbrush outside - then she can 'draw' all she likes.

Get an aquadoodle then at least if she draws on anything else it's only water

Ha, this brings back memories of trying to get bright red wax crayon off a newly painted pale cream wall...!
When I mentioned it at work, an insufferable male colleague commented smugly that his little Tarquin (name changed) was “only allowed crayons under supervision”.
I also once caught DD1, aged 2, drawing in biro on the skin of her baby sister’s back. When I remonstrated with her I was told quite crossly that “I ran out of paper!”.
Moral of both tales I suppose, is keep the crayons locked up and the toddler under prison camp levels of surveillance...! Oh, and top up the paper supplies.
