Oh well.

PeppermintStick · 20/05/2007 19:39

I would be highly concerned about the salt levels. There are similar snacks available for kids with much less salt.

LongDistanceClara · 20/05/2007 19:41

There are other snacks that melt in the mouth that aren't as high in salt or as yellow.

Organix do crisps just like wotsits, for instance.

Or as chavvy

NOw quavers for a 38 year old?... ... that's perfectly acceptable.

Anyone fancy nipping to the shop to get me a packet?

beansprout · 20/05/2007 19:46

Why not feed them something that actually has some nutrients?

MaryHinge · 20/05/2007 19:46

Organic pretty much didn't exist when mine were little.

I take the attitude with DS (2.4) that what he doesn't know about he can't scream for.

He gets raisins, and apples etc when we are out shopping to distract him. Of course he is my first so I am sure that with any subsequent children I will not have the benefit of complete ignorance of all things crisp-like.

Once when I was out and feeding DS those baby rice cakes, some woman commented on poor DS having to eat those health foods. He was 1 years old and LOVED rice cakes - he simply didn't KNOW that he was deprived fgs!

(DS does get crisps occasionally with lunch, I am not a total puritan)

LOL at "bottomy". I am seriously considering running to the corner shop to find out what bottomy hands smell like!

LongDistanceClara · 20/05/2007 19:47

Your bottom smells of Quavers, Hatrick?

LongDistanceClara · 20/05/2007 19:47

MissG, just scratch your arse

MaryHinge · 20/05/2007 19:48

Obviously needs bleaching eh Clara?

MissGolightly · 20/05/2007 19:48

But does my arse smell like quavers...?

[sidles out of room to find out...]

LongDistanceClara · 20/05/2007 19:48

Ach, you're among friends here, MissG

MissGolightly · 20/05/2007 19:50

Yes, but I fear the cat would be shocked.

FrannyandZooey · 20/05/2007 19:54

I would have thought Quavers smelt penisy rather than bottomy

oh no I don't think I will post this after all

WelshBoris · 20/05/2007 19:55
