I have a 16 month old ds and we go to baby groups. I have one this morning but I’ve got a heavy cold and nasty cough. He’s fine and I’m functioning. So the question is would you take your child if you were in my position? It’s a small group and no one has any immune problems.

No I wouldn't go. Firstly I wouldn't want to spread it, secondly I wouldn't want to be embarrassed by nose blowing/coughing. Get better soon OP!

No, because there’s nothing worse than a toddler catching a cold. It’s not just about immune problems, any child who’s not feeling well isn’t good! What if a parent then has to take time off work and lose money because her child isn’t well?

No.

For a start how do you know nobody has immune problems? Some of the parents may not even be aware yet if their child is more vulnerable to illness for some reason

Thanks all. I was leaning towards no anyway but have been told I’m often overly cautious so thought I’d get other opinions.
