Best quality and worst quality clothes for toddlers?

Hiya ladies,
DD starts nursery for 3 days a week in September and I'm looking to get some basic clothes for her as I know nursery includes messy play with paints and all sorts! So don't really want to dress her in smart clothes for nursery. Any brands you'd recommend to me that are "nursery day wear?"
She wears clothes from primark and mothercare mostly, but I find they shrink after a few washes!
As for best clothes I am looking for some that she can wear on weekends when we have family days out. I do love next, but I find them so expensive! Any ideas anyone?! Also how are George / Asda clothes? I saw a few bits online she would look gorgeous in, but don't want them shrinking either 😩

Preloved PoP. Wears and washes well. Being second hand, you don't care if they roll in the mud before coming home.

Sainsburys. Asda and tesco close second. Matalan is cheap but most of their stuff cant be tumble dried which is a pain if you need to turn around clothes quickly.

Just thought I’d revive this thread to mention to anyone that might be interested, Sainsburys have 25% off all clothes until Monday

For every day clothes Sainsburys clothes are great, they wear really well and you can wait for the 25% off events and use your nectar card. For special outfits, I used to love John Lewis, loads of choice and some really lovely things.

Good quality pop, Boden and joules. There are fb selling pages if it's just for nursery.
Worst quality is Zara
