Finally pregnant after struggling with PCOS for so many years, my little Milagro 💗

Just looking at prams/ pushchairs/ buggies.
Which one is the best one to go for?

I was looking at iCandy Apple and Peach.

My sister had one like that years ago it was lightweight and easy to push..loads were commenting on how nice it was..

Look for a pram that’s lightweight easy to push and easy to open and close. You are best to go into a pram shop and look then review them online

@Benandhollysmum Thank you! I've heard good things about them too. Think I'll pop to Mothercare and try one out.

I have an iCandy Peach. I love it but it is HEAVY. It's definitely not lightweight and also doesn't fold down in one. Very sturdy and lovely to look at though. Personally I'm not keen on the look of the new Peach but that's just me.

Completely depends what you want from a pushchair, there will be a design to fit most lifestyles. If you like the iCandy you may also like the Cybex Priam, Joolz Geo 2, Bugaboo Cam/Fox, Egg and Uppababy Vista. Test drive them all and try them in your boot too.

Prams I only used for first 5 Months
Then all of my DC went into city mini baby joggers
They are amazing , lie flat , massive sunhood , indestructible and easy to fold

Mybabystolemysanity · 06/05/2018 07:19

If you even remotely think you may try for another quickly, get something you can convert to tandem by buying bits later.

Otherwise, I've liked the lightweight was of my Venicci, but the toddler seat unit has annoying connections that need two hands to disconnect. Great with car seat as it's a very simple fold and we're in and out the car a lot.

I had an icandy peach and loved it, although dd is now 7 so a few years ago! I found it incredibly easy to push and I can't say I found it heavy. It was important to me dd was parent facing and I never turned the seat unit. I used it up until 2.5 when she started walking everywhere instead. We had a petite star zia to take on holidays when we were flying.

Evangeline3 · 06/05/2018 09:06

Thank you all!

I want her to be parent facing also.

Always thought the icandy was light, I'll have to test it out.

I've had dreadful hyperemesis and been in hospital for most of the pregnancy so another one is off the cards for a bit Grin so only for one right now.

I had a baby jogger city mini for dd1 was perfect for long walks and buses as it folded one handed and was a dream to push. Only downside was it only forward faced. I used it from about 8 months as used a sling before that.

DD2 I couldn't use a sling so bought a bugaboo bee which was very lightweight and easy to push. I used right up until she no longer needed a buggy. Was nice to have her parent facing as a chatty toddler too.

@nocutsnobuttsnococonuts Thanks, I'll look into a bugaboo too!

What features is it you like about those? We could suggest some other models to look at with similar ones.

Is budget an issue?
