Hi all,

I'm a newbie on this board. I was accepted last year for an MSc distance learning in Library and information studies, and opted to defer the place for a year since I was due to give birth in March and figured I'd be less than interested in the course just as it was getting to the heavy bit! Now I'm wondering if I should do it this year as well, since it looks like I will be going back to work full time in August (I had planned to go P/T but dh being made redundant)is it possible to be a good mama, work full time and study part time? Lol...answers on a postcard...

it is possible but it is VERY hard and VERY stressful.

I study full time & don't have a paid job. I am a SAHM the days I don't have Uni, which i actually just one full day.

Extremely difficult for me to juggle & I don't have to add a job into the equation

Why don't you just take time to enjoy your baby & do it next year, though it will still be hard work, it might not seem as bad if you have full nights sleep

Lol...sounds like I might be biting off a tad morethan I can chew then. Think I will wait to see if DH gets a job and I can go at least P/t with mine, if not give it up altogether.

Enjoying my LO as much as possible sounds like a much better idea.
