Do your children smell different to each other?!

This is such a random thing, but I have a DS aged 3 and a DD aged 1 and they smell so different to each other!

My son smells delicious, but my daughter, I can’t put my finger on why, just doesn’t smell as good. Even if they have both been in the same bath.

Is it because I’m used to my son’s scent so it’s more appealing to me? Or because he is a boy? Or do some people just not smell as nice as others?!

Has anyone else noticed this?!

My son (youngest) smells like my pillow when I am sleepy. My pillow doesnt smell of anything when I am not sleepy. So maybe he smells of comfort and cosyness?

My dd is twice his age and she doesnt have a smell apart from post bath.

Maybe little boys just smell nicer! Won’t last though, I still remember the stench that came from my brother’s room when he hit puberty Hmm

Yeah am goibg to enjoy it while i can.

Maybe its hugs? I get roughly 10 hugs a day off ds plus he climbs into bed for a morning cuddle and likes to sit on or next to me when on the sofa. So I know his smell.

Dd has always been very sparing with her hugs, rarely gets into our bed or stays for longer than two minutes and doesnt sit on my knee. So I dont have as many opportunities to sniff her.

DS is 16, he can smell quite high compared to DD who is 11 and still childlike in aroma terms.
