i know this is boring...sorry! and i know i,ve read about this on here before, but cant seem to find anything about it at the mo. i live in a mega hard water area and want to try using vineger to soften my sons nappies...but cant remember how i'm supposed to do it. i,ve got the white vineger and tee tree oil at the ready, but need to know how much to use and also should i use it every wash?

i put the vinegar in the fabric softener drawer ready to be used at the rinse. I only use the tea tree oil for dry pailing. Guess you could put a few drops in the water for the wash.

yes use it every wash, I have to add I don't think it made a huge difference, sometimes I resort to tumbling them on cool for half an hour which doesn't dry them but does make them soft!

I just put a slug of vinegar in the softner draw and add a few drops of tea tree oil as well when I can remember.

I have started using liquid for my nappies and it is making them way softer than with powder and they smell less of washing powder/wee.

I put a small amount in the draw where you put the powder (about a tablespoon) and a slug of white vinegar then wash as normal (with a prewash).

Not sure if you are using powder so if not - ignore me!
