Loose front teeth at 4 - is this normal?

My DD has special needs and cut her first tooth at 3 1/2 months, obviously earlier than average. But yesterday she drew my attention to her top front teeth and both are pretty wobbly! Is this ridiculously early or on the early side of normal or what? They certainly don't look unhealthy, and she has 6 month check-ups, all has seemed fine in the sense of no decay, though she has a problem with erosion as she has always had a reflux problem, though quite a bit better nowadays. Well, opinions are welcome! Thanks.

dd2 cut her first tooth at 3months. she lost a tooth last month at 4.5yrs old.

dd1 also cut early but not as early as dd2, and started losing hers at 5.

dd3 cut her teeth at 8weeks old.

Normally children start to loose their milk teeth around %, But everyone is different (sorry for the cliche). However, it does appear to be hereditary (spelling?) so if you lost yours early or you dp/h did it is likely your dd will too. Hope this helps

i used to be a dental nurse and i would say that this is that unusual. some children lose teeth early and some seem to hang on to them forever, if your having regular check up and everything else seems ok i wouldnt worry too much

How long are they normally wobbly before thy fall out? I guess this will vary loads, but it would be good to have an idea. Also, is it likely to effect eating? She has feeding probs anyway (bad enough to have a gastrostomy - a tube directly into her stomach) but she does eat a little. Also she has been refusing to let me brush her teeth over the last few weeks, telling me in signs (she has speech problems) that it was uncomfortable and because of a history of force-feeding in hospital when she was a baby, I don't want to give her bad oral experiences of forced tooth brushing (I have managed part of her mouth most times but only for a few seconds!) I am wondering how long this might go on for! Thanks for posts so far...

My eldest DD lost a lot of her milk teeth in reception class. She had her first tooth very early, and grew her 'teenage teeth' very early too. All my boys are very slow at loosing their teeth-my 11 year old has only just lost his 8th!

I have heard of this lots of times before TBH, so quite normal i think.x

It is early but OK. I think DS (early teether as a baby) had wobbly teeth (bottom front) at that age but in his case they were ages before they came out but that was partly because he never wobbled them or anything as most children do. Also his second teeth had already come through behind them at this point.
