Best food for a new brace wearing child?

My daughter was fitted with braces yesterday.
What's good food to give her? She's 11 tall and skinny so needs plenty of good food which is soft. She had spaghetti yesterday, omelette today, rice pudding etc.
I'm struggling with snack ideas, she usually eats crisps, crackers with p.b, carrots etc.

Yoghurt. Macaroni cheese.

The discomfort will settle soon!

My daughter enjoyed skips in the first few days as they sort of melted in her mouth. I imagine wotsits maybe similar.
Soup was another favourite. She also found jelly and ice cream was nice. It's soft and the ice cream was a nice cooling sensation.
It does get easier, but I remember the first few days take a bit of getting used to it.

I posted similar a few months ago and everyone said 'it's fine after the first few days' 'don't worry about it' etc but actually even when they aren't sore the braces are limiting.

Potatoes: no crispy roasts or chips, no baked potato skins: instead serve mash, colcannon/champ etc, lyonnaisse, DD has discovered a deep love of baked sweet potato (no skin) with cream cheese for richness and feta for sharpness, with a side salad minus cucumber and celery.

slightly overcooked rice and pasta.
Make your own potato salad but avoid the cheap bought stuff as it has hard bits.
Soup, cold soft desserts/lollies are excellent after a tightening.

Chinese takeaway better than indian generally as all the pieces are smaller!

Dd eats roast potatoes and chips and garlic bread (carefully!). Sweet potato, baked potato, mash, rice, pasta, all good. She can eat burgers in buns, chicken in bacon, etc. There is not much they can't eat really as long as they eat carefully and make pieces small enough to eat easily i.e. you can have Apple if it's cut into rings/slices but don't try to bite into a whole one
