My DC Have had Clark school shoes at the beginning of the school year, they were nearly £40 each, now it seems as though they've had a growth spurt and it's rubbing the edge of their pinky toes making some skin loose.

We don't really want to buy them another pair of Clark shoes if school will be ending in a few months but also don't want bad quality bulky shoes. Any suggestions??

tbh its about this time of year, or sometime into the next half term that we make a little trip to Asda for top up shoes and have usually found something that does the job. So long as they fit, they are fine. I've never found Clarks to be great quality and they've never been great for my 3 with narrow feet - it's all marketing spin anyway.

I’ve recently moved to Tesco school shoes for ds. Clarks ones were almost £50 a pair now he’s older Shock He’s now on Tesco £14 ones and says they’re more comfortable than Clarks and have lasted just as well. Same pair since September. The only negative is the insole tends to wear quicker so I have added a decent foam type one as well.

I’d do the same for dd but her feet are so ridiculously narrow that supermarket shoes never fit.
