3 month old crying when changing bottles - normal?!

I am expressing my breast milk then bottle feeding my 3 month old. When I interrupt feeding to reach for a new bottle after she finishes one she cries loudly until I give her the new bottle. It's only a few seconds until I grab the new one but she cries as if she'll never see food again!!

Is this normal?? Confused

Yeah I'd think so. She's no way of knowing you're getting her another bottle and she's still hungry.

Maybe a stupid question cause I've not had my baby yet...

But why are you using 2 bottles? Can you not get a bigger bottle so you don't need to change?

That did cross my mind too actually!

How much is she drinking? Can you buy use the bigger size bottles?

Agree that would be normal if she's still hungry. Babies cry when hungry.

Definitely agree trying a bigger bottle if you're not already using the largest one.

Thanks for all your replies! The only reason I'm not using a bigger bottle is because she doesn't always drink the full amount every time and the smaller sizes are more likely to get finished so that saves me from having to chuck breast milk when it's been out of the fridge too long!

You know breast milk can be out the fridge for 6hrs? I just make up a huge bottle that normally lasts 2 feeds, and means i have enough if she wants a bigger feed
