DD Copying Swearing! HELP!

Darling DD1 (27 months old) has started saying 'Sing Hell' and 'For F*'s Sake' whenever she drops something or trips up or falls over etc.
I am unfortunatly the main culprit in the swearing department in our household, and seem to have become more foul mouthed since having the DD's.

how can i put a stop to a: my swearing
b: dd's swearing
Anyone got any inventive non-swearwords we can both employ instead of offensive ones?!

thanks!

I must embarassingly admit my 23 month old has been doing this for a while. I don't think anyone else notices but me and dp though.
I completely admit that it's my fault and have been trying desperately to stop swearing.
Will watch this for some advice also.

Stop all swearing in front of your child now. She should soon forget.

To aid memory loss, choose a non-offensive word (big bunion, whatever)and start saying that instead. SHe should soon start saying that word. Especially if you say it with lots of expression.

Hmmm thanks ladies, i've made a swear box and its a quid in each time i utter anything other than sweetness and light. And at the end of the month it will go on something nice for the family to share. !!
Hopefully it'll help curb my rudeness and help set a better example to the dd's!

So what are your funny non-swear words?

barnacles

it's what dp and i say whenever we catch ourselves swearing. we've found that by drawing our own attention to it and making ourselves more aware we seem to be improving.

when dd swears we either ignore or say 'say suger dd'. it's best not to draw too much attention to it or make it taboo.
