16 month old milk bottle (nutramigen)

My dairy free DD is still having 2-3 bottles of milk a day. She's on nutramigen 2 so I'm happy to keep her on bottles as obviously I need to know the amount I'm putting in. She has tommee tippee bottles with size 3 teats but she seems to be struggling with them; making sucking noises as though she's not getting it quick enough. Does anyone have any recommendations of bottles or teats I can use?

Can I ask why you are still using formula and bottles? At that my age my dairy free toddler just had soya or oat milk in a sippy cup or an open cup.

Because I still get the formula on prescription 😊

No idea on that one sorry. Can you use a bigger teat? Sorry if that’s a stupid question.

Can you just give her the formula in a open cup or a sippy cup?

I have 16 month old on nutramigen - 1 bottle at bed in Tommie tippee vari flow.

Oat milk in munchkin 360 beaker at morning wake/with breakfast

I'd be surprised if they keep giving us a prescription for much longer (just had gp letter asking me to go and discuss dietitian letter from the 12 month visit, thankful for the delay for a change she recommended switch to oat milk bottle gradually) I've built up a bit of backstock of nutramigen so that I can reduce slowly

Why can’t you measure it out in the bottle and then tip it into a cup / sippy cup .

Hi, I make my sons in a beaker and make it by eye - iyswim? At that age food is main source, however you should google new study about growth of children who have non- dairy (but not formula) milk. I wouldn’t use this to argue to keep your Nutramigen perscription.
