What nappies do you all use? Ive tried basic pampers from Asda and little bits of cotton like material stuck to my sons penis, they seemed very thin, although didnt leak, they were circa £10 for 87 pieces. I took them back, and am using some others I had in hand, any suggestions would be really appreciated.

Used Pampers for DAD but Sainsburys in brand have been the best for DS.

Used pretty much everything for 6mo DS but I'd also go with sainsburys own. Great value and haven't had an issue with them at all

We use the mamia nappies from Aldi and have found them very good - actually better than pampers as they seem to fit DS better who is very long and thin! They are also structurally a better shape IMO. They're also only 99p a pack compared to the £4 for pampers.

I found Asda little angels were rubbish and leaked and were also quite short so didn't fit great.

Aldi mamia are good, pampers are good but not if you're on a budget. I also use Lidl but find they're too thin for night time so only use during the day. Asda I do use but find I always need the next size to what dd is because they're quite tight and small

Smellybears · 06/03/2018 11:29

I found that pampers leaked, literally every nappy! Asda own brand ok, boots own brand very good and I use Aldi own brand regularly as I’m really pleased with them Smile

Another vote for Aldi here. Best we've found.

mommybear1 · 06/03/2018 13:58

Pampers. Tried ALDI but they leaked - apparently they are not good for boys but seem to suit girls Hmm

Lemondrop99 · 06/03/2018 13:59

Pampers are leaking big time for my DS. Tried Tesco but still leaking. Currently trying to find something that works. Sigh.

PonderLand · 06/03/2018 14:18

We used pampers when my ds was tiny and moved onto nappy pants when he was about 1. So much easier to change him and they never leak. With the normal nappies we'd buy the + ones to try stop leaks but every normal nappy we tried leaked. He bum shuffled so that might be why they leaked a lot.

Blaablaablaa · 06/03/2018 14:22

I found boots own brand were best. Relatively cheap too and often on offer. Sign up to their parenting club as you get additional advantage points.

Aldi Nappies are by far the best we have tried.

userabcname · 06/03/2018 14:45

Another vote for Aldi. Also like Pampers.

GlitterBurps · 06/03/2018 14:49

DS1 we used only pampers. DS2 we were using Lidl nappies which were quite good but didn’t contain his explosive poos. We are now using Sainsbury’s own brand and they have been really good, only one leak.

Spam88 · 06/03/2018 15:21

Nothing holds as much wee as an Aldi nappy. Pampers are the absolute worst for leaking. We like the Asda ones during the day because they contain the explosive poos, and then aldi at night.

SuperUnicorn · 06/03/2018 19:00

Pampers premium protection. Tried a few other, like these the best. I don't change overnight and never had a leak. I have had a couple of poo leaks but only when he has been getting too big for the size or we have needed to go up a size in clothes. I think it depends on the shape of your baby as they all fit a bit differently.

Orangedaisy · 06/03/2018 19:05

Asda and Tesco for dd1, Asda and Aldi for dd2-she came up in a dreadful rash with Tesco. No leak issues with any of these.

AllotmentJunkie · 07/03/2018 08:57

Reusables- you can rent kits from happy library's to see which one suit you needs.

AllotmentJunkie · 07/03/2018 08:58

I should add have 1 leak and no poo blow outs in three months with the cloth- we love them and really not much more work

ForFuckSakeSusan · 07/03/2018 09:26

I think it's all very baby dependant really. We used Aldi for several weeks but they constantly leaked when we moved to size 3. Tried lots of different brands/supermarkets but have found Pampers Baby Dry to be the best, we just stock up when they're on offer.
