Worth using in your opinion or should I just let him run around without a nappy on? What did you do???

I went straight to knickers. IMO training pants are too easily confused for nappies - they can feel like nappies so the child may think it's OK to wee in them. Plus as the absorb at least some of the wee, the child doesn't get the feeling of being wet as they would in knickers.

He wore them the other day and we had a breakthrough when he said "I feel wet mummy". Needed him to get used to feeling wet and dry...so they seemed to be helping (and saving my sofa a little bit!!) But just wonder whether it is better to bit the bullet in this weather and strip off bottom half completely!!?

we used them outside the house and had her in knickers and pj bottoms inside.

she also had them for playschool til she was fully reliable as it would have been a bit unfair to ask them to have to change her 7/8 times a day (not to mention she doesn't have that many pairs of pants!)

IME they're a waste of time. They're not absorbant enough to hold a full wee and yet they feel like a nappy so it's the worst of both worlds really.

Didn't use them with DS. Am using them with DD (although she is wearing orindary pants now after a week of minimal accidents) as I am still in shock that my 19 month old small baby is capable of knowing when she needs to wee .

the sassies from minki are great as you can stuff them with loads of microfibre clothes so will hold loads of wee if your out and don't get to the toilet in time
