13 month old allergic reaction? To huggies pure wipes

Hello, I need a bit of advice.

Last week we brought a batch of huggies wipes, not used them before but my daughter is good with a few different brands of wipes so I didn’t think too much.

Used them when we got home and after a few hours I noticed all of her bottom was very red and inflamed as was her vagina area.

I put the wipes away in a storage cupboard to give to my little sister to use a make up wipes. I treated her nappy area with sudocrem and it cleared up within 2 days.

Last night my partner got out the wipes and used one to clean baby up after her dinner. This morning her neck and around her mouth is very rashy and itchy.

He obviously wasn’t thinking when he used the wipe and it was a mistake.

My question is, does baby need to see a doctor? How do I get the rash to be less itchy and red? It’s all by her hair line as well so I think using sudocrem would be a mess.
My daughter is absolutely fine in herself but obviously irritated by the itching. Sad

If she is 13 months old she can take Piriton, you get his over the counter from the pharmacy.

No need to see a Doctor, just don't use the wipes.

If it's very sore take her to your practice nurse. But most likely she's got sensitive skin (very common in babies) and been irritated by the chemicals in those wipes.

Wash her with a flannel and warm water - no soaps - and pat dry with a towel. Use some cream like sudocream or oilatum. No need for piriton in my opinion as it's not a true allergic reaction and piriton isn't without side effects (can make some kids go mad hyper others drowsy).

Don't use baby wipes on her face again, both of mine came out with eczema when we used wipes on their faces. If you want something for when out & about get water wipes.
