When did your babies start to walk?

Ds 8.5 months. Hasn't stopped running and climbing at every opportunity since! Lots of injuries along the way...

super the black eye on my very confident early walker would definitely back that theory up.

She only really crawled for a few weeks before starting to cruise instead. She seems to have much less spatial awareness/ coordination than her similar aged but later walking cousin.

pasta I would definitely agree with that. Walking now, talking later in her case. I have met babies at groups a few months older that are much chattier & more vocal than she is but are not weight baring on their legs at all yet.

notnow I can completely see how the injuries will occur! She got her first injury from her walker yesterday jumping up & down and banged her chin Sad one of many to come!!

Me & my partner both walked at 10 months, I think she will beat us both!

elquinto yes I feel your pain with the rolling during bum changing now! My girl only started rolling over properly in the last month or so, so it's new territory! Always fun keeping up with their new tricks Wink

One of my twins decided he was going to sit up, crawl and walk well before he was actually able to do any of these things. He's had a constant array of bruises since he insisted on sitting before he could, and then immediately falling on his face.

His non walking brother is so much more stable. I prefer his approach!
