Pocket money 12 and 10 year old

I have 2 DSs, 12 and 10 and so far have never given them pocket money. We get their clothes etc, pay for phones (minimal use) and they keep Christmas and birthday money to spend on what they like (although having said that, I don’t let them buy credits on PS4 games etc, but that’s probably for a different thread!).
They do help out round the house a bit, but it does tend to need constant nagging from me and DH. Anyway, I think it would be good to have some jobs they need to do, and give them pocket money in return.
So my questions are, how much is the going rate, and what jobs should they have to do to get their money?
Thank you!

My 10 and 13 year old get £3 each a week. We don't do the money for chores as I've seen neighbours teens get into a thing where they won't shut a door without being paid.
But mine have to clear the table, clear and wipe it after meals, feed the cat, keep their bedrooms in an ok state

Hi.

I have always been a huge supporter of enduring kids know the importance of responsibility within a home. After all, they will eventually be doing it on their own.

Something that has been in my home as well as my family members is a rotation chart for things such as;

-hovering
-dusting
-washing up
-wiping the sides
-rubbish taking out

(You get my point)

The enforcement absolutely comes from yourselves as parents. The Home takes priority over devices. Once they complete their responsibilities then they get to have their fun :)
