What to do with conflicting potty behaviour????

My lovely DD is at the first stage of potty training. She will quite happily sit on the potty and 'try' & actually do wees at her childminders and other friend's houses.

However she refuses to sit on the potty or toilet at home and we have lots of accidents.
She may not be completely ready but I understand the conflicting behaviour.

Its driving me INSANE and making me paranoid - is it something I'm doing wrong. we've even tried using swapping potty's with the childminder to no success.

HELP PLEASE ....

Whoops, , I mean "I don't understand her conflicting behaviour". If she can do it at the childminder's, why is she not doing it at home ?!?!?!?!?!

It sounds as if she is ready physically - but may not yet feel ready to be a big girl instead of 'Mummy's little girl'. I think I would let her start to use the potty at home under her own steam - or be sure to give her lots of babyish cuddles and cut back on 'big girl' talk, if there is any! Also, is she copying older children when at childminders, and may not be quite readsy to take the plunge by herself?
Or, is she enjoying the attention of 'accidents'?

Funny little creatures, aren't they? DS had a period of 'experimenting' with accidents after he was very capable of getting it right.

I try not to make a big fuss when she wets herself and she's the one that keeps telling us she's a big girl and insists on wearing knickers.

she actually told us off the other day because we called her a baby!!!

she's always been very independent and can be very contrary but god she is really testing!!!
