Currently, i’m In a custody battle with my ex wife regarding my two children and tomorrow is the final hearing at court, however my ex has emailed my solicitor her statement then followed it up with an email stating that she has sent her REAL statement to the court, so I’ve not had chance to read it as she’s not served it on us (she represents herself) my solicitor has now instructed a barrister for the hearing tomorrow. What will happen regards to this? TIA

Hi, I never got to read my ex husbands statement, I represented myself initially but had a barrister at the final one as this was a must apparently, so it should help you out. Most of the time judges will see it vital that children spend time with their father (just want to point out I never stopped my ex seeing his son but he took me anyway for no reason but asked at the mast hearing for an extra night in the week and got it even though it wasn’t in any previous/original documents to the court). But as long as my boy is happy I’m happy, but was expensive for no apparent reason. I’m sure yours is different so good luck.

Sorry should also say although your barrister may try and say what she’s done is devious in sending an incorrect one, I found the judges didn’t even ready my or his file they were almost clueless, so they might not even address this.
