Why has DD has just started deliberately wetting herself

DD has been dry for about 4 weeks now. For 2 of them, even at night. Potty training was uncannily easy - I knew it was too good to be true! So today, to make up for it, she has 3 times wee'd in her pants, and once done a kaka! Is it just the novelty value? What shall I do about it? So far, I've just said, no, that's not where we do weewees, is it, and changed her, but has anyone else been through this, and how was it resolved?

Could be a urine infection?

I think this is fairly common when the novelty value wears off and they just can't be bothered to go to the loo. Otherwise is there anything that would make her more excited than usual? Feel she needs to seek attention? Seeing if she can get a reaction? Does she seem reluctant to go to the toilet? Or is she showing off and experimenting? DS had a bit of a relapse soon after learning the ropes, and soon stopped it again when he realised how uncomfortable it was in wet trousers. Now he wees in the garden....

checked her temperature, and it seems normal. I was thinking of leaving her in wet pants, but was worried that she might get used to it and not mind!

nothing extra has happened to make her want more attention. I think maybe it is just that the novelty has worn off...
