My Mo is nearly 14 Mo. She wakes at 7amand sleeps normally from 10.30 am to 12pm and then 3-4pmand bed at 7. The past few days (just st after come back from uk break) she won't go to sleep for her naps. She has her first one after bit of crying but not the second. Today she woke early at 6.15 and slept eventually at 11.15am . I'm going to wake her at 12.3o for lunch and probably she won't sleep in the afternoon. I do t understand as she seems tired but won't sleep . Can anyone advise what lunchtime naps their toddlers have and when they eat lunch? If she wakes at 7 as normal tomorrow do I give lunch first and then a nap? Thank you

Leave her asleep until she wakes up and then don't do a 2nd nap but a slightly earlier bedtime if needs be

I’m move lunch to 11o’clock and try and get her to hold out for a nap until after that. You may need to introduce another meal at 3ish to see her through till dinner time.
As she gets older you can move lunch to lunchtime, but my (just)2 year old has had lunch at 11:30 and has just settled down for her nap.

When they first drop to one nap they often need it quite early, 11.30/12ish. I would just offer a sandwich beforehand and if she didn't eat it then offer the rest when she woke up.

Thank you. She ended up having an hour and half nap at 2.30 cos she was so tired. Then she was awake awake practically the whole night last night but that might be due to storm Elena! So confusing!
