FTT & reflux

My DD is 15 months. She was diagnosed failure to thrive which, basically means her body weight is exceptionally low. She's in a super high calorie diet but nothing is working.

She suffers severely with reflux still (despite being taken of reflux meds)

I was wondering if anyone had any tips/tricks of how I can get more calories into her. She's already having dollops of butter in most things (Dietician's and consultants advice) extra high calorie milk mixed in most meals etc

Has she been assessed for allergies or anything else?

They have tested her for lactose intolerance, in my opinion that test is invalid due to the fact they changed her milk to lactose free and then after I think it was 24 maybe 48 hours of being on lactose free milk, they managed to get a sample from her 🙈

I do feel like she's got to have something not right with her because she doesn't stop eating. And I mean she can have 5/6 meals a day and snacks and is still on 4/5 bottles a day too. She's 15 months and still wearing 3-6 month clothes

Have you discussed the possibility of going dairy free. I know you would be worried about possible reduced calories but something is not adding up.

Does she still vomit lots? Does she show any other signs of dairy intolerance?

Did lactose free make any difference? Children with milk protein allergy often find going lactose free gives some improvement.

Well there was a bit of a difference. She did well on the milk but apparently her milk now has lots of dairy in and she seems okay on the milk.

But your right something isn't adding up. Even now she can't tolerate many lumps etc.
