Newborn Nappies - Bimble or Swaddlebees

Am hoping that someone will be able to help...A colleague at work is expecting her first and is looking to use cloth nappies. She was thinking of using either Bimbles or Swaddlebees as a newborn nappy.

She's looking for slim-line look with good containment and would rather have velcro or poppers. She hopes to use Tots Bots as Size 2s.

Can anyone help or suggest something else?
I don't have experience of these as used Tots Bots and Motherease wraps for my two.

Many thanks

Do you think they will be Ok with the newborn Sawddlebees?

Flamesparrow · 16/05/2007 19:16

Yes - that sounds ideal actually

DS was about 14.5lbs when he first had a wbb and it was lovely and slim then

Last baby was 10lbs, so I'm not expecting any smaller!

Eek!!! How big do newborn swaddlebees fit?

Flamesparrow · 16/05/2007 19:24

Up to 14lb, so ok then

Where the swaddlebees are so dinky I think the XS could be a very good move. Less gaping at the legs

I used XS rikki wraps over my bimbles when DS was born (9lb8) and they were a perfect fit as they are a bit narrower than the small size.
