Anyone ever heard of a nursery weighing a child?!

No, I do think they used to do this when I was in school but that was a long time ago.

Not nursery but the children in reception class had there height and weight checked last week.

I think in some areas HVs got into nurseries as parents are working so many hours that their young babies aren’t able to be weighed, but not heard of it outside of this.

They do it in schools (like a pp, mine had hers checked last week in reception, along with hearing, flu spray, etc.). The school nurse may also do nursery visits if you are using a nursery attached to a primary school? Otherwise, I know the HV's do some checks in nursery settings as they liaise with nursery staff on the development side of things. Mine had her height and weight and other checks done at the 2 year visit (which we did at home), but I imagine it's just as likely they might sometimes do them at nursery depending on the area.

Yes they weigh and measure my daughter at her nursery.
