Help with a bath situation

My 5 year old underwent emergency surgery to her stomach last week. She's had stiches and generally a tough time. Problem is we only have a wet room. We have been planning to put in a bath, but this had happened so suddenly. Does anyone have any recommendations of something we can use to improvise. A large baby bath? Anything that she can soak in to help with the dissolve of the stictches and generally bathe until our bath gets fitted. Thankyou xxx

A paddling pool would be bigger than a baby bath maybe if you've room for it? Hope she's recovering well

Hope your DD feels better. We have this for Dd who is only 3 but there is lots of room and says suitable for up to 4. Worth looking at measurements, it is £37 so you might not want to spend that much if it isn’t going to be used again,

Also if you have a large sink? My eldest was probably still have baths in the kitchen sink at 5.

We have successfully used one of those large lidded plastic boxes you use for storing stuff. They come in all sorts of sizes. Our most brilliant friend suggested packing all our stuff in them for a caravan holiday, slinging the boxes in the boot then unpacking in the caravan and using the box in the bottom of the shower to bath the kids. Much easier than suitcases and a baby bath!

A huge flexi bucket or plastic storage tub.

One of those plastic/rubber flexible trugs you can get from big supermarkets would do the job. You can use it for laundry or something later.

A paddling pool?

Once we went on holiday, my son expects a bath every night and we only had a shower in our caravan. I bought a big storage tub from home base and he sat in that for a soak!

Oh they sell the rubber trugs in the gardening bit I think. Honestly they are so useful for all kinds of things. I used to have one I chucked all DS's toys into. Great for tidying up because you can hold it with one hand - absolute genius! I only got rid of it when we moved. It was really sturdy too.

I often bathe kids in one of those big flexi tubs when camping or too covered in mud to walk through the house. Try Asda or garden centres.
