She had her first round of injections this morning and had baby calpol, and she's such a happy baby normally but she's been crying for the last hour and I don't know what to do Sad

Her nappy is dry, we're having lots o cuddles, she doesn't want to be fed, and it's breaking my heart seeing her cry like this, she normally doesnt cry at all. Is there anything I can do??

My dd just had her 3rd lot of jabs (4 months) a couple of hours after she just screamed continuously. Think it was her legs that was hurting her, she was better off lying down, not being cuddled as that seemed to bring more pain being held. Once calpol kicked in she would sleep but as soon as she wakes she is back to screaming. It breaks my heart to see her in so much pain. If she isn't better tomorrow I will take her doctors.

Way too late but a warm
Compress and massaging the injection sites helped us

My little boy cried from 5pm to midnight after first injections, despite calpol. Then slept 7 solid hours (longest ever at this point) then back to normal next day. Rang 111 just as he’d dozed off and had to wake him back up. You’re there with her, best thing you can do. Hope she’s ok soon. X

Is it normal for babies to have diarrhoea after the men b injection?? My boy had his injection 6 hours ago and won’t stop crying and has diarrhoea 3 times...

Hi Gok, my DD had it several times after the Men B vaccine so I think it's fairly normal. I know you will be already, but make sure you're extra careful with your hands as the vaccine gets passed through the poop and can make you ill too! Hope your LO is better soon x
