Loud child, Shouting out at school...

My son (6) is extremely LOUD all the time, his voice seems to travel for miles and it seems like he just cant stop his mouth going constantly. As I'm walking down the street I can hear HIM above all the other children in the playground at school! Plus the fact that he puts on a very deep 'teenager' voice when he's showing off doesnt help as it makes him instantly recognisable. We have problems with his behaviour at home and at school but one thing that worries the teachers more than anything is his shouting out. For instance they'll be in class and all the children will be sat quietly listening to the teacher and all of a sudden my son will blurt out "is it dinner time yet?" or "Can we go out to play yet?" of course the children find this hilarious and as soon as he realises they're all laughing he plays on it and does it all the more.

I went to my eldest sons achievement assembly a couple of weeks ago and as all of the other children were being led into the hall my younger son (trouble!) came walking in holding his teachers hand, the hall was in silence due to a strict head teacher but as soon as my son saw me he shouted out "I'm holding the teachers hand because I've been silly again!!" with a huge grin on his face, again the children erupted in laughter and the teachers fired a few evils in his and my direction.

What could be causing him to completely disregard the fact that he's the only one in a hall of over 100 people actually talking??

Lifesteeth, I had fits of giggles reading your thread! I can understand his teachers frustration, and your worries, but what I visualise is a very confident young man and a comedian of the future! He's certainly not shy.

apparently i was like the girl in the Trio adverts (if you recall them). my parents said i was very embarrassing, and when i spoke people would turn round because i was so loud.

i grew out of it. although it does rear it's when i'm very quite drunk.
