Swim nappy that holds pee!

Going on a beach holiday soon and so expect my DD who is 23 months will be on the sand and in and out of the water. We have always used disposable swim nappies previously but I thought it would be more practical to take reusable ones to put under her cossie,(plus you have to change disposable ones as soon as they come out of the water) The issue I am having is that although all swim nappies hold poo , I cant find any that will hold in wee. I don't really fancy chasing my DD round while she dribbles widdle everywhere! Has anyone got any suggestions?

No swimming nappies hold in wee, not even disposable ones...

They don't hold wee because then as soon as you want in the water, they would hold art the water. So would be full when any wee came along anyway.

What about a cloth booster in a swim nappy. Same issue with it holding any wster, not just wee tho.

They can't hold wee or they'd soak up the contents of the pool!

No none hold Wee otherwise they'd soak up the water

Have you ever seen s normal nappy left in the bath? You wouldn't want your kid in it, especially not whilst in the water!

If they held wee they would absorb the water in the pool/sea??!

I've been thinking about this a bit more.

If she does a little dribble wee then a dry cloth swim nappy will soak it up (in the same way as if she was wearing maybe 3 or 4 pairs of knickers one on top of the other). If it's more than that could cope with then it'll leak out.

And if the nappy is already wet then it'll leak out because the nappy is already saturated - but in that case who would know whether it's wee or pool water? She'd probably be dripping anyway.

Some people go for an empty pocket nappy in place of a swim nappy. I've got a swim nappy but I send an empty pocket nappy to nursery so it can live there and I can still have the swim nappy at home.

I wouldn't put any kind of booster in a swim nappy - it'd get really uncomfy when it's fully saturated and it doesn't seem worth it because as soon as she's been in the pool it won't take more liquid anyway.

DS wears the reusable swim nappies and we are at the pool or beach most days. They are quite thick so would be ok for dribbles but no they don't completely hold wee like a regular nappy does.

Sometimes we do the disposable one underneath the reusable for double protection. Especially if I think a poo is likely
