Just that really.. what age do you think a toddler stops being a toddler and what do they become? Preschooler?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I don't know. Mine is 2, and certainly not 'toddling' he's more like the Tasmanian devil. But, he's still a baby to me. Even though I have another baby.

I think officially at 3 they become a pre-schooler. My DD1 turned 3 in June, and I've found the 'official' change in category has coincided with a massive leap in language, comprehension, physical ability, and just how she looks now. She suddenly looks (and acts!) like a little girl/child now rather than a baby/toddler/small person IYKWIM?

Mine's 2.5 and I still have "Baby on Board" sticker in my car!! Should I change it to "Child on Board"?!!

I'd say 3-3.5, my 2yo is still bald and looks like a walking baby Grin

Depends on the child. With dd around 2.5 but ds is nearly 3 and definitely still a toddler in my eyes.

DD will be 3 in November and all of a sudden she seems to have stopped being a toddler! She seems like a proper wee person now!

soundsystem · 23/08/2017 19:58

(She would say she's a pre-schooler, because she's just moved to the pre-school room at nursery)

Preschool happens at a defined age, at least it does around me. Preschool starts the term after the child a 3rd birthday. So I would say that's when a child is a "pre schooler". Having said that, my DD is nearly there and I continue thinking of her as a toddler. I think I will until she starts school full time.
