I'm not sure if this is in the right place. But, I'm new to this and this was the only place I seen I could post.

Does anyone else have the TT steamer/blender? I used it for the first time today to steam carrot sticks. Filled with water, removed blades and put onto steam cycle
For 15 mins. They came out still pretty hard surely for a baby they should be super soft? No idea if this is how they're meant to be or if my machines dodgy! I put them back in a further 5 mins and they still were quite hard.

How thick were they?

I almost bought this but a few of the reviews on Amazon said exactly this! Very annoying as it looks like a great product

Just the size you'd buy them in Asda cut into carrot sticks. Such a shame as I'd heard great things about it. I know steaming foods means veg with have more crunch but how's a newly BLW baby supposed to bite into a semi hard carrot and chew it while just starting out? Hmmxx

Hmm I've got this but haven't had this problem? Usually steam carrot for 15 mins to then blend it and it is nice and soft. I don't remove the blades though, didn't think you needed to? Could that be the problem?

I done sweet potato and butternut squash fingers today and they were soft. Think I maybe didn't cook the carrots long enough. X
