I constantly stress about my 11 month old, amd not sure if shes delayed in her development or not, can anyone shed some light....
She is rubbish on her tummy still. She doesn't tolerate it and will roll over quickly. She can't push up onto all 4s or crawl.
She can't sit from lying down.
She can bum shuffle everywhere amd goes at reasonable speed.
She has pulled up to stand the odd time but not consistently.
She can cruise a few steps along the couch or walk holding hands but not with a walker and her legs are very unsteady.
She has gross and pincer grip amd can play amd pass between hands.
She can clap her hands but doesn't wave, or really point at things.
She doesnt babble a huge amount but can say mama and dada and some other sounds.
She doesn't follow instructions, eg. Wave goodbye or give kisses etc.
Does she sound ok for 11 months or am i right to be worried? Her friends seem ao much further on than her!

Sounds fine to me. Honestly. :)

Sounds fine.
If you're worried maybe mention it to your HV when you get her weighed?

Sounds totally normal! And bum shufflers are renowned (anecdotal evidence not scientific Smile) for being late walkers, early talkers. She may not crawl at all but I wouldn't worry.

Every child is different. If you have concerns are there drop ins near you? Sometimes baby groups can be competitive but I always found the drop ins with Heath visitors to be great

She can do loads of things that my daughter who does have a gross motor delay couldn't do til much much later (rolling, weight bearing and shuffling). HOWEVER If you have this niggle that something isn't quite right, then contact your HV. It's what they're there for.

I dont think i worry about the things individually as none seem extreme but when i put them all together, it seems she's a bit behind in every area. I'll maybe need to be brave and phone the hv again!
Sorry also about the spelling, my autocorrect suddenly seems to have stopped working and im rubbish at proof reading it seems!

Do you have a 12 month review booked?! There's a questionnaire you complete about your lo to see what they're doing and where they might need extra help.
I have to say my lo is 11 months also and it sounds fine! He is up on his feet more than you described but I definitely would not say he knows words. Just sounds like baba gaga etc. I'm sure she is just fine!
But a little chat with someone never hurts x

It does not sound worrying. Most bum shufflers don't either crawl because they don't need to.

As for following instructions I think that is a big ask for an 11 month old and don't forget she may know what you are asking her to do but just not want to do. My 15 month old can follow instructions but will do so if she want to.

There is a great book called birth to five which listed mile stones. You might want to get a copy.

Sounds pretty similar to my 11mo. Mine is less mobile than yours, but a little more talkative, broadly similar though. She seems to prefer to sit and listen, I think that's just her temperament. She also hated being on tummy.
