Self Measuring Feet

Hi, does anyone measure their own kids feet? Took DD to Clarks for her first measure and pair, she's grown out of them now and I'm thinking of buying a measuring kit online. Our local Clarks is rubbish (think untrained/badly trained teens measuring and getting a different result each time and can't decide which one is right) and the Clarks I took her to last time over an hour away as are other reputable shoes shops.

Can anyone recommend a home measurer? Or am I really better making the trip and going instore?

Thanks!

We have the Clark's do it yourself one. Works well. I usually get DS checked on store too when we go to buy new shoes x

Cutebabasmummy where do you get the self measuring guide from please?

It's the same plastic contraption they use in the shop. You can buy it on line from the Clark's website. It's around £8 I think. We have the infant one at the mo x

Startrite sizing isn't the same as clarks but you can print out an a4 grid that the child stands on and it tells you their size.

Start rite come out a bit larger x

Doesn't matter if you're buying their shoes though!

Try to find an independent shoe shop that has trained shoe fitters...

A list can be found here:
