Bed wetting & Camping - How do you keep the sleeping bag dry??????

We just bought a tent, etc and plan to go camping next weekend. DD1 is not reliable with her night time toilet habits, and I don't really fancy having to deal with a wet sleeping bag in the morning (esp. if the weather's not great).
Has anyone else dealt with this and if so how? We really don't want to put her in nappies because it's been quite a struggle to get her to this point and she's doing quite well with it all.

How old is she? I know if it were me Id put on nappies and worry about it later. Ive started potty training my dd today and have thought what we will do when we go on holiday next month. We are rent a flat and I will use nappies if I have to as I dont want to leave the carpets in a bad way!

How old is she, xoz? If too young to go to the doc for tablets (desmopressin) then I would try to talk her into wearing DryNites, just while camping, on the grounds that although she is doing well, she would not enjoy sleeping in a damp smelly sleeping bag.

She's 3.5. Has been dry in the day for a year, but has been VERY reluctant to give up the night nappies... so I really don't want to "give in" to her desire to have them back.

Also am not so keen on the medication idea, (don't think they'd do it so young anyway, would they?)
The only idea I have is to try to line the bag with one of those pampers mats... but I dunno how successful that would be....

Well, she doesn't have to have a sleeping bag as such at all. She could have a duvet on top and some kind of sheet underneath and then you could do whatever you normally do at home.

However, as it's only a weekend and she's apparently not bothered herself about wearing a nappy/pull-up, I think you're giving yourself more work/worry than you need if you insist that she does without. I'm sure she can cope psychologically with the idea that this is a one-off.

There's no way she'll not sleep in the sleeping bag as we just got new ones esp for her and dd2, and they're both VERY excited about sleeping in them. We lift her to use the toilet when we're going to bed and will do that when away and we have about a 90% success rate. I guess we'll have to do the nappies unless someone has any other brilliant ideas....

have read recently about a sleeping bag with a removeable liner. maybe buy a mattress protecter and velcro?
