I have used it 5 times now to try it for ds and every time it has leaked within half an hour and the microterry inner is soaked.

Just wondered if it just does not suit him/he is too heavy a wetter or if I could be doing anything wrong.

Hmmm.... what's he normally like wetness-wise?

I had problems when I had boy bits pointing sort of at an an angle rather than straight down and it was going to the least padded bit and leaking.

didnt realise just how heavy til I started potty training and saw his wees! Just goes to show you how good my wbbs are!

Will check his bits next time he is in them.

I have a vast array of SB's. In my experience they dont last as long as other nappies (until needing a change). A trimmer nappy obviously means less material to soak wetness. However i would have thought they'd go longer than half an hour. I think they can work better on older babies and toddlers who arent 'sitting' on their nappy as much iykwim.

nappyneeds, DS is 20months and is starting to potty train which is why I wanted to try it. I love the shape and idea, just wish it would last a wees worth! Really looking for a washable pull up.

Was thinking of trying slinky yoyo (as you recomended before Flame) but I was not sure about sizing. DS is pretty hefty and I found the swaddlebees is getting a bit tight on the largest setting but the yoyos are sized 18months-3years then 3years+. Anyone know how these fit?

I'm not sure how well the sizing works (not got any), but I know that the swaddlebees are very very slim which is probably what makes them small on chunkier children (will make a note of that for future advising ).

Minki nappies as a general rule are fairly big so I would think they would probably be better.
