Should we attempt to go to bed without a nappy??

Ds2 has been very slow getting dry thru the day, but has been dry since beginning of feb. Have said to him a coupl eof time "shall we go to bed with no nappy??" and he gets upset and crys. I dont want to upset him more and push the matter. Will he just decide when he is ready??

help please.

Don't try it if he says he is not ready.

When he consistently has dry nappies in the morning and is happy to go to bed without his nappy then go for it.

DS2 was potty trained in Feb and has been dry in the night for a week now. He did not want to wear a nappy at night. He is 31 months.

I meant he hasn't worn a nappy at night for a week. He has been dry at night for about 3 weeks.

Wouldn't push it if he is getting so upset about it. How old is he?

ds is 3.6, has been dry during the day since a few weeks before 3rd birthday and still wears a nappy at night. ask him each night and he says no, he'll get there when he's ready

took dd a year before she was dry at nigth!
sorry prob n ot what you want to hear
it wasn't a issue, she just wasnt' ready to go that long.

Dd has been dry in the day for three years, but is still nowhere near ready to be dry at night.

Don't push it, it's not something you can train or that they can do to your schedule.

There's a hormone which kicks in to suppress urination overnight, and until that happens he won't be physically able to be dry at night.

Relax!

I dont mind him wearing a nappy for bed, he still likes him milk before going to bed and while he is still having that I dont think he will be dry thru the night just yet.
