i am looking for a buggie/3 wheeler to take ds on walks off road, well off pavement really! was hoping to find one that doesn't have pneumatic tyres if possible. have tried chicco one from mothercare but having to take it back due to fault on break.
would be very grateful for recommendations.

We used Urban Detour 3 wheeler from mothercare, off road, in mud on grass etc was great, only think it did not have was a brake.

I too have the urban detour and its FABULOUS!! It even has a cosy fleece boot thing which is great on chilly days. I have been in the woods, on the beach, all over with it and I really rate it. It does have pneumatic tyres and I got a flat once but we then put some thick bicycle repair tape on the inside of the tyres and have had no problems since and I've been over broken glass.

mountian buggy urban - great buy - easy as pie to steer and is quite at home down the bumpy allotment track! It has pnuematic tyres but only had a couple of punctures & DH fixed them for me so no hassle!

pneumatic tyres are what will make it comfy/ bearable for your LO if it really rough ground. If its just a bit not quite smooth than anything with suspension should be fine. We did lots of off road with a M&P classic. But for real rough stuff ( dartmoor) I use the CTS chariot jogger with 2 20 inch wheels and a 16 inch front wheel, all pneumatic.

Pneumatic tyres are what make a buggy easy to push!

We have a Mountain Buggy Terrain, have had it for 5 years (2 children, lots and lots of walking), and we're very happy with it. One really nice detail: all the fabric bits can be popped off and stuck in the washing machine. Thanks to this, this buggy doesn't look completely rancid, despite years of use.

as much as i love the urban detour buggies from mothercare, i have to say nothing beats mountain buggy for off roading.
