Help! FTM here confused and sterilising

Hi all would really appreciate some advice as I am due to be induced in the next week if I don't have a natural start of labour before hand!

I am planning on formula feeding, and today have set up the equipment. I have a tommee tippee electric steriliser kit and a perfect prep machine which I ran both through a cleaning cycle so it's all ready to go.
My question is once the bottles come out of the steriliser they still have condensation in them which I know is sterile but how do I store the bottles to make up a feed as I need on the prep machine do I just leave them wet? Seems pointless having to sterilise one bottle at a time?

Sorry if this sounds silly, just really confused and as a FTM want to be as prepared as I can

Hiya, I have a microwave steriliser and a perfect prep. I just sterilise a load of bottles and leave them in the steriliser (closed) and take one out for each feed. Don't worry about the condensation. Good luck with everything!

I put them together and put them in the fridge for up to 24 hours. I kept one out so it was room temperature for use so he hot shot from the perfect prep machine did not cool too quickly.

I would sterilise them all, then assemble the bottle ready for the prep machine. They remain sterile for 24 hours. the amount a new born feeds you won't have bottles hanging around for 24 hours without being used!!
Good luck! I was induced with both of mine. It was boring and it hurt but I got babies out of it and so it was fine! Kxx

I eithe sterilize then put the bottles together with the lids on or just leave them in the sterilizer. Don't worry about the condensation Smile

Good luck!

Once you open the steriliser then it's not counted as sterile, i.e. you should put the bottles together and use within 24 hours.

We assemble the bottles after sterilising, they stay sterile for 24 hours.

NUK sell a drying rack it's very handy - use the tongs to move the bottles etc to the drying rack and put each one together when you make a bottle. As others have said re sterilise after 24 hours. The perfect prep machine is the best thing we've bought! Good luck x
