Hey mumsnet I'm all new to this :) my daughter is now rolling and sitting up but falling but not crawling and I don't really let her onto the floor yet cause I'm scared she will bang her head on the floor and stuff we have an big sized living room and I am wondering weather anyone has had any good padded carpets or mats for there little ones that they will recommend for me?

We have a massive fluffy Ikea rug on our laminate which does the job perfectly. It's not a special kids one but was bought for same reasons as you want one.

Those foam alphabet squares are great for this :)

I'm just worried if she bangs her head on the floor

I bought the foam squares but they were a bugger to clean so I got a fluffy Next rug.

I have a Tiny Love Super playmat which is nice and padded and has some lovely play features on it. I use it on the kitchen tiles and even on the grass on warm days. It folds up quite neatly and is machine washable. I got mine as a present but think it's around £35 - worth every penny though.

Where could I buy that from x

Bhar78 · 04/06/2017 22:11

I would try Amazon or Argos

princessachica · 04/06/2017 22:23

What is called?

Bhar78 · 05/06/2017 09:29

Just google "Tiny Love Super playmat" and it gives you lots of options
