I'm finding my ds is bored of all his toys. Can anyone recommend me some please that he may like?

Just bought my dd a Happyland Noahs Ark and she's actually been playing with nothing but that for 4 days straight.

Duplo is a clear favourite with ds (3.5 years). He also likes Happyland stuff and jigsaws. Now the weather's getting better he likes anything that can be played with in the garden.

Agree with Duplo and Happyland. The Happyland train set is good, I think we bought ours from eBay.

Both of mine played with this food set lots. Has he got the Tummy Ache game? It's very basic but just right for that age.

Don't forget free or cheap things either. Have you got children's glue and scissors for cutting magazines and catalogues up and making pictures. Outdoor chalks are cheap and you can draw pictures and make games. Has he got a small paintbrush? Yiu can give them a small bucket of water and let them pain the fence/shed/wall. This game is good and if you have toy cars already it's virtually free.

Have you asked him what he would like? Mine seemed to always play best with something they have chosen themselves - often something I'd never have thought of!

Almost forgot. One thing that worked for us, and still does I suppose, is to put a lot of the twos away. When they were little and still napped, we'd have 2 or 3 toys out in the mornings then I'd usually swap one or two while they napped.

Now they are older, I leave something out for them in the living room and swap it whe on they are getting bored with it and if they want anything else outm they go and fetch it.
