Tell me when things got easier for you

I have 3 dc under 5. Whilst I love them to all to pieces I'm also finding it very overwhelming. My entire day is filled with baby care, cleaning, cooking, washing etc, etc. I never have a second to stop. Even through the night I'm awake most the time seeing to the youngest. ( youngest is 1 but a terrible sleeper) I would just like to hear when you all found it got easier. By easier I mean being able to clean the house without a million calls of 'mum' or a baby hanging off my leg. Whilst I know things will be different when they are at school and I will no doubt be moaning that I miss them terribly I would just like an hour now and then where they can play nicely together so I can get jobs done. Thanks

each stage has its own challenges, I don't think it gets easier it just changes as the children's needs change. My 9 year old still shouts mum every 2 seconds. Teenage years are definately the most challenging so far.

I have adult dc and it's still not easier. . Physically they don't need as much but emotionally they do. . .
And now a gs so off on the baby coaster again. .

I felt 4yo was a milestone where they became more independent and able to help themselves more.

12yo was when they turned 'teenagery' but (going against the grain here) I'm finding the teenage years by far the easiest
