As the title says really...what's the best stroller you've had? I've had so many things, bugaboo, britax etc and I just want an easy, practical umbrella stroller...is maclaren best? Thanks!

Hello,

We've noticed this thread is quite old and some of the product recommendations are a little out of date. We've spent weeks speaking to parents and testing out lightweight strollers and buggies. Here's our round up of the best buggies available to buy now

Hope that helps!

We've got a Chicco Liteway and it's been great, used it until DD1 was 3 and reusing it now for DD2.

I don't rate umbrella strollers tbh. They take up loads of room in the boot and I find them hard to steer. I have a bugaboo bee and I really like it. It lasted size wise until my tall toddler was nearly 4 (I don't drive) and I'm now reusing for my ds2.

Baby Jogger CMGT. Excellent on all surfaces. Huge hood. Good recline for naps. True one handed fold. Hold value very well for selling on. Not the prettiest to look at but that's what the Urbo2 is for Grin

Babyzen yoyo - I love it!

Chicco London stroller, come with footmuff and raincover. Has survived, in addition to the usual wear and tear, many many weekends away in the U.K. shoved in the boot of the car and several trips abroad on planes. Still going strong. Was £70 in the asda baby event about five years ago, only bought it as a second buggy ended up my firm favourite.

Maclaren globetrotter. Weighs nothing, v.easy to manoeuvre.

cairnterrier · 02/05/2017 22:30

Bugaboo bee. Lasted through two children and never needed replacing. I still go a bit melty inside when I see a Bee with a tiny baby inside. Oh and I loved the colour - bright yellow Smile

Thanks for the replies!

I have a bee 09 but my little one doesn't like that it stays a bit reclined all the time. Also the harness pops open if he struggles so I can't use it :(

I had a maclaren techno xt for ds1 and absolutely loved it! He's ten now so can't comment if they're still as good now.

Ds2 is currently in a joie one and it's pretty good for the price (£90 or so)

Baby jogger city mini tour.

Very lightweight!

qumquat · 05/05/2017 08:41

Baby Jogger City Mini. It's the only buggy I've had since DD was born, she's now three and it's been great for every stage. I still get an attack of Smug every time I fold it one handed or get it on and off trains without needing help.

Hedgeh0g · 05/05/2017 08:43

Babyzen yoyo.

I've got the Chicco London. We call it the crap buggy and only use it for nursery runs, I hate it! Confused

I use a Bugaboo for non nursery days but we're looking at scrapping both off and getting a better quality umbrella fold so watching this with interest

MrsPringles · 10/05/2017 07:44

Just incase you're still reading this, I have just ordered a Chicco Mini Mo Stroller. Folds super compact and I really like the colour (Blush)
Now selling the crap stroller and Bugaboo and sticking with this
