Could be but you'll need to wait and see if more appear

HopeFull28 · 30/04/2017 11:29

Ok thanks. If it is would he be contagious now?

Yes he will be contagious, until the spots crust over.

ActuallyThatsSUPREMECommander · 30/04/2017 11:32

Has anyone at nursery or wherever had it?

HopeFull28 · 30/04/2017 11:33

Ok thanks

Yup, that's chicken pox, or at least it's exactly what DS's first spot looked like. Give it a couple of hours, you'll soon know as he'll quickly get more.

HopeFull28 · 30/04/2017 11:35

He doesn't go to nursery yet his daddy is a sahd but goes to toddler groups and swimming lessons Blush not heard about anyone else having it..

He went back to bed at 10.30 which is unheard of so will see when he wakes up

Certainly looks like it could be. They will start popping up quickly if it is - more every time you look!

My DS had it at around that age and his first spot was on his stomach.

If it is I can recommend cool baths with bicarb in.

Chicken pox spots generally look like "a dew drop on a rose petal" (old saying but ) ... i.e. a tiny blister in the middle of a pink area.
