beacuse quite honestly it's been a piece of piss here

yes lth i did and four to five even easier

4 and 5 have been easy boys !

LadyTophamHatt · 08/03/2007 19:49

I'm shocked at myself when the thought of having 5 enters my head...if DH argeed I'd go through another awful PG tomorrow.

It really has been the easiest increase in offspring yet, which logically speaking is madness

Oooooh so pleased to hear it LTH

Am hoping that lots more people agree with you and NAO

CarGirl · 08/03/2007 19:54

yes 3 to 4 was easy peasy, she's been the worst toddler though plus she constantly wants to be treated the same as the 3 & 4 year old since she could walk at 16 months...........

wanderingstar · 08/03/2007 20:52

I found 3-4 really hard at first tbh...but now ds3 is a toddler (and sometimes a nightmare one to boot!) I'm really enjoying it.

foxybrown · 08/03/2007 20:57

LadyHat -
wondering how old yours are? Mine will be 5.5 and younger when no. 4 is born ....
Will I still be smiling?

pollyanna · 08/03/2007 20:59

no, because my 4th has been most stroppy, miserable and difficult child. If I had had her first, I wouldn't have had 4 Also breastfeeding was really tough to start with.

Now (dd3 is 2) I really enjoy it!

TheOriginalXENA · 08/03/2007 21:21

Yep 3-4 was easy for me too. Actually managed the longest bf with him. DS2 is now 10mths and an absolute horror- but adorable, loved by all his bigger siblings

PeachyClair · 08/03/2007 21:28

Oh I hope its easy

trying for no 4 atm, excited but also a bit nervous about the adjustment

Dh has managed to save up for the car in super fast time though so no backiing out now

He's also planning the vasectomy for straight after though LOL

juuule · 08/03/2007 22:03

3 - 4 was no trouble as we still hadn't got out of baby mode, no3 was 15m and no2 was 2y7m. It did mean 2 in nappies in the day and 3 at night. No1 was 5yo. I think once we got past 3 the next baby just seemed to fit in each time we had another one. Which is how we ended up with 9.

LadyTophamHatt · 08/03/2007 22:05

you're just showing off juule

Ceolas · 08/03/2007 22:08

9?

Looking forward to 4 myself

juuule · 08/03/2007 22:11

Seriously, I'm glad it's going so well for you LadyT.Long may it last.
Did I forget to mention the first few weeks(think about 3/4) with no4 when he didn't sleep for more than 2 hours at a time, day or night. Hmmmm, and I had to prop myself up on the pram to take the 5yo to school in the morning, I was that tired. Maybe I've got my rose-coloured glasses on. In hindsight it didn't seem to last long....but at the time...

myturn · 08/03/2007 22:17

After the horrendous shock of going from 2 to 3, going from 3 to 4 was a doddle. Like juule, we were still in baby mode (15mths between dd3 and dd4) and didn't notice any difference really... well except for having to get a people carrier. And a bigger house...

quadrophenia · 08/03/2007 22:18

3-4 was great for me too and they were all 3 and under

CocoLoco · 08/03/2007 22:23

I found going from 2-3 easier than 3-4, tbh. There just seem to be so many of them, crowding round the supermarket trolley or asking me to get them drinks. Not to mention squeezing them and all their stuff into the car. Won't stop me going for a 5th though

Spidermama · 08/03/2007 22:27

Coco good on yer. If I were a couple of years younger I'd go for a fifth then a sixth.

Going form 3-4 was tough, but no tougher than 2-3. The older ones can look after themselves a bit better and my oldest helped with the baby.

Having a baby is always pretty hard for the first year or so realistically because of the sleep thing and the total slavery but this is the case whether it's baby number 4, 10 or 1.

LadyTophamHatt · 09/03/2007 08:03

I'm glad I'm not the only one, I was a little nervous that I was heading for a huge crash and it'd all go wrong really soon

juuule · 09/03/2007 08:24

LadyT - that is sooo lovely, I've gone all tingly and come out in goosebumps now

foxybrown · 09/03/2007 14:04

What am I worried about??!!!

claricebean · 09/03/2007 21:40

Glad it's going well for you LTH. I am just over 3 weeks off having number four, so good to hear it'll be a piece of cake

NotanOtter · 10/03/2007 11:28

its so different after number three and so much easier
