Sounds much better. The question springs to mind though - how would someone buying them for the first time know that they were buying the new version. Is there anything obvious??

makesachange, I have taken your advice (from other pocket nappy thread) and ordered a couple of swaddlebees inserts in medium from your site . Hopefully they will stop my minor wicking problem so that I can use our swaddlebees with a bit more confidence. They are great apart from that and I love the fit of them.

I think the microterry ones are easier to put in and out but they're like hens teeth as they stopped making the shaped ones and they've not yet released the others. Let me know how you get on though.

Maisie, well if you get thenm from me they're all new type!!! If you put the two together it's really obvious. Otherwise just ask retailer I suppose. The thing to look at is that the liner on the old one is like fleece, and on the new one its a velour. There's actually a sooooooft cotton cover first, then underneath a poly liner to wick wet away - brilliant!! Also, the leg cuffs are tucked in whereas before they weren't which meant that the liner could touch the baby's clothes and just wick straight out.

mmm I loved swaddlebees until a couple of weeks ago when they have leaked every time I have put them on DD1.

they are pocket sized have both a medium and a large. Used a swaddlebees insert and also a hemp booster and microfibre cloth in them but they leak wee.

Are they the new or old style?

You may be over-boosting (ironically) which changes the shape - mostly a problem with the old style.

If they're the old style then I'm afraid it's par for the course (soooorry). If it's the new style do you have 2 x SWADDLEBEES boosters of the size down to your nappy to trial? If so, give it a go and get back to me with results and we'll go from there.

mmm not sure which style they are, having a guess probably old as I bought them from a ebay shop.

OK, do they have a fleece liner made from - like - fleece - or a goooorgeous soft inner which isn't anything like you've seen before?

Is the leg gusset stiched out (so the liner folds out a bit) or stitched in (so no liner shows outside)

Before you do, though, are you really into pockets or perhaps she's just too much of a heavy wetter for them?

I mean, if I'm kinda recommending them I just want to be sure they're right.

I only have them as my pocket nappies but did love them. Will try different boosters and see as am a bit skint at the min anyway as am having to save for a new double pram that fits through my door

i have a swaddlebess AIO velour with pocket for extra boostering which arrived last week. its so silky soft and gorgeous.

Nemo, oh get a carrier for your smallest instead!! I carry P at 2.6 in my Freehand Mai Tai no problem.

I can't be doing with pushchairs...

And think of all the nappies you could buy instead!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a freedom sling which is fab but DD2 is like a little radiator and makes me feel all hot and sweaty if I have her in it for too long.

i dont know what the normal swaddlebees is likw, but i love the AIO. its sooo cute (they are for when dd3 is at my mums house, so dont get used often at home)

Imagine how I feel. I have to deal with the darned stuff. I just got some goooorgeous new pjs in, fairtrade organic fabric, not yet listed on the site and one pair went straight away into P's cupboard... perfect fit for cloth nappies and SOOO soft! I'm very tempted by one or two others.. I mean, he's just growing out of his other sets... honestly...

And we're off to a friend's tomorrow night. P's coming and will sleep on her spare bed while we're there and she's insisted on a waterproof sheet, so I've pinched one of our organic cotton/natural rubber ones (can't stand sweaty sheets).

Not to mention the fact that he goes digging in dirt wearing his lovely Cut4Cloth stuff...

It's probably a good thing he's grown out of the shoes now as otherwise I'd have to start a new business to fund my stealing from my own company habit
