Think I've already said it ! - not for me too many leaks and general yukiness!! - other better reusables out there.

I started out with good intentions on a Bambino Mio birth to potty set. However I found them hopeless at containing newborn BF poo so went through the 4 wraps supplied in a day and then had to use disposables. I gave up for a while thinking cloth nappies were rubbish. Tried again when DS was 10 weeks and now I use a mix of the BM prefolds with a motherease rikki wrap and bumbles nappies.

Now that DS doesn't do so many poos I find the Bambino Mio nappies cope with the wet ok and dry quickly, but I really don't like the wraps and the velcro on them folds over and scratches his tummy. ME rikki wraps are wider so contain more and are much softer with velcro lower down so no skin contact. Bumbles are WONDERFUL and i leave him in it for 12hours overnight with NO leaks... totally amazing... and not that expensive either!!

I'd highly recommend Motherease wraps and Bumbles (personally I like these more than Tots Bots as they are softer, fleece lined and dry a tiny bit quicker). Bitterly regret buying BM. I see you are also interested in Kushies. A friend of mine uses them and likes them a lot but I understand the outer liner tends to wear so might not last another child - making it a more expensive option.

Best of luck with using cloth, it's wonderful once you find what's right for you

I ebayed my BM fairly quickly after getting fed up with them I do wonder if they might have worked a bit better once DS was weaned and a bit more err solid???. I guess if I had kept them they would perhaps have been good for boosting and when I know wee is likley (poo is getting fairly predicatable now), but at the time needed to recoup money to buy something else. Have to say at the time (I had health probs at the time so perhaps it wasn't a good time to try reusables) BM nearly put me off reusables for good which would have been a shame as the right reusable is as easy to use as disposables.

Have to agree with everyone here, I found them absolutely useless, a waste of time and money, how they won awards I will never know!!

I changed to Tots Bots which I found much better but there sounds like there are some even better ones on the market than these. I still find disposables far better for going out, etc, nothing worse than carrying a lot of wet, poohy nappies around with you !!

dd has been in them since 5 weeks and still is, and has had runny poo for most of her life. i've had between 12-28 nappies (less of the larger sizes) and 6 wraps and until ds was born managed fine washing every 2-3 days.

ds however lasted a week in them before we realised it was a no go.... leaked everywhere and were a disaster.

like all nappies, depends on the baby!
